Open Clinics
Each Monday (except holidays), the Carter County Health Center is open from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. for open clinics. On Mondays citizens may been seen at the health center for a variety of reasons without an appointment. Citizens may visit the health center for health screenings (hearing & vision, blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, & cholesterol), receive monthly injections or lab drawn with a physician’s order, receive immunizations, TB testing, receive chronic disease education, as well as many other services.
In addition to Monday Open Clinics, these services may be available on other days of the week, but you are requested to call to ensure the needed staff are at the health center to serve you. Alternate days of operation are: Tuesday-Thursday are 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
